Position Overview:

As the Lead Product, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and managing the product portfolio of affordable housing finance offerings. This is a leadership role where you will work closely with cross-functional teams including underwriting, sales, marketing, technology, and operations, to build innovative products that cater to the needs of underserved segments in the housing finance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Strategy & Development: Lead the development of new products, from ideation to launch, and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals. Continuously evaluate market trends and customer needs to define the product roadmap.

- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer pain points, industry trends, and competitor products. Leverage insights to create compelling and customer-centric product offerings.

- Customer-Centric Innovation: Develop solutions that address the unique challenges faced by low- and middle-income homebuyers, ensuring accessibility and affordability while maintaining business sustainability.

- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with key stakeholders across marketing, technology, legal, and operations teams to define product specifications, pricing, and distribution strategies. Ensure seamless coordination for successful product launches.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products are compliant with relevant regulatory guidelines, and stay updated on any policy changes that impact product offerings in the affordable housing sector.

- Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track product performance, ensuring that goals related to market adoption, customer satisfaction, and profitability are met.

- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of products, from introduction to end-of-life, ensuring ongoing product optimization and alignment with customer needs.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing product management team to drive product excellence and foster innovation.

Qualifications:

- Education: MBA or Post Graduate Degree in Business, Finance, or related field. Relevant industry certifications are a plus.

- Experience: 10+ years of experience in product management within the financial services or housing finance industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the affordable housing finance sector, regulatory environment, and customer needs.

- Skills: Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive collaboration. Experience in managing end-to-end product development and execution.

- Analytical Abilities: Data-driven with a strong focus on performance metrics, customer insights, and market trends.

- Leadership: Proven track record of leading and mentoring a product management team to success.
