Manager, Product Design

What you get to do in this role:

• Directly manage, mentor, and develop 3-5 designers specializing in AI-driven UX solutions.
• Drive the UX vision and execution of AI-powered platforms that redefine workplace productivity and analytics for some of the largest companies in the world.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, user research, data science, engineering, and content teams to integrate AI capabilities from strategic definition and planning through the tactical execution of product roadmaps.
• Distill complex AI-driven problems into clear goals and requirements for the design and research team.
• Understand the companys Design Systems, encourage their application, and contribute to their further development and maintenance.
• Drive the growth of user-centric, collaborative culture across the Business Unit
• Evangelize AI-driven design strategies and product vision across global, distributed design teams.
• Assist in conducting user needs assessment, task analysis and develop user profiles; identify key tasks for user research, competitive analysis and user testing, develop usability plans.
• Develop high level task flow content and then use storyboards and other design documents to communicate concepts and vision to others.
• Lead your team through rapid iterations of theoretical task scenarios, navigation map, flow, and state-transition diagrams to document design decisions.
• Oversee your teams work: detailed mockups and prototypes and behavior specifications.
• Oversee UI layouts including controls, labels and graphical elements for software on both mobile and desktop platforms with an eye towards experience unification.
• Participate in documentation development process such as user experience specifications, testing and evaluation.
• Work closely with product management in UX ideation and innovation.
• Travel up to 20% of the year
