Service Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Engineer with expertise in Solar PV Inverters. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and a strong technical background in the solar industry. This position involves fieldwork, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar PV systems. The Service Engineer will be responsible for providing customer support, and performing onsite repairs and installations as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, test, and commission solar PV inverters at customer sites in accordance with safety guidelines and company standards.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to solar PV inverters and associated systems, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.

Conduct regular inspections and performance assessments of solar PV systems to ensure optimal operation and efficiency.

Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar systems.

Willingness to travel frequently to client sites for service calls, installations, and troubleshooting activities.

Work closely with other engineers, sales, and support teams to provide integrated solutions and address customer concerns effectively.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the solar field with hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar PV inverters and systems.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of solar PV inverters, on-grid solar operations, and the overall functioning of solar power systems.

Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues in solar systems, particularly in inverters and associated components.

Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

Languages: Proficiency in English and Kannada or Telugu (spoken and written) is required.

Willingness to Travel: Open to frequent travel to remote project locations as needed for on-site installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, capable of explaining complex technical issues in simple terms.

Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
