Job Title: Drawing and Design Engineer (Solar Structure with PV Syst Operational knowledge)

Location: Indore

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Drawing and Design Engineer (Solar Structure Design, proficiency in AutoCAD, and experience in working with PV Syst systems. The ideal candidate will assist in drafting Solar Structure design plans, including BOS and BOM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design of schematic Drawings, SLDs of Solar PV Systems and Electrical Networks.
• Sizing of Solar PV System components like PV Modules, PCUs/ Inverters/ Charge Controllers, Transformers, Batteries, Array Junction Boxes, DC & AC Cables.
• Designing & Generating Energy simulation reports with PV SYST.
• MMS Design for Structure using STADD.
• Preparation of Scope of work, project plans, schedules, cost estimates and budgets for projects.
• Preparation of Feasibility Study Reports, Project Proposals and Detailed Project Reports (DPR).
• Knowledge on weather, temperature and irradiance sensors.
• Module Mounting Structure designs with Weights calculations.
• Preparation of scope of work, project plans, schedules, cost estimates and budgets for projects.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and company quality requirements.
• Conduct solar design analysis using AutoCAD 2D/3D, Helioscope, and Pvsyst software.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate structural engineering designs for solar projects.
  
• Develop detailed drawings and layouts for solar panel installations on rooftops and ground mounts.
  
• Provide technical support during construction phase to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulations related to renewable energy sector.

Qualifications:

Education: Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Electrical or Energy field from a recognized institution.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in Solar Design Engineering or Structural Engineering (preferably).
• Experience with PV solar systems is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) is required.

Skills:

• Knowledge of building codes, solar system standards, and industry regulations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Experience in the solar energy or renewable energy sectors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Helioscope, Pvsyst, SAP PS module; knowledge of MS Office applications is essential.
