Job Title: Jr. Engineer - Electrical Testing (Hub & Nacelle Assembly)

Job Purpose: Hub & Nacelle Assembly & Testing

Role Type: Individual Contributor

Preferred Professional Education: Diploma/Degree Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Developing Wind turbine (Nacelle & Hub) testing methods & processes to conform to the functionality of electrical component & systems, closely work with P & T team for revision of TCI/ Test protocols.
• To adhere with all relevant safety guidance and legislation including the code of practice for in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment and Health & Safety at Work.
• Knowledge in continuity, Insulation resistance & functional test of electrical harnesses & panels, sensors, motors etc.
• Lead technicians in wind turbine test execution of testing and test equipment development.
• Testing of WTG systems, electrical machines and operating supporting auxiliary test systems and test facility equipment.
• Operation of test cells with variable frequency drives, Transformer, ACB etc.
• Electronic circuit analysis, Wind turbine troubleshooting knowledge.
• Responsible for all areas of electrical, control, testing phases during new product testing.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects and issues found during testing.
• Creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Assures product quality by performing electrical testing methods and testing finished products and system capabilities.
• Closely working with suppliers for Test jigs development, Testing spare procurement & management.

Work experience:

• 3 4 years of Electrical product testing, Wind Turbine testing will be preferred.
