Software Engineer

What will you do?

• Closely collaborate with multiple engineering teams for developing Cloud Security products natively that are integrated with the SentinelOne platform
• Taking ownership of individual software components and delivering clean well tested code while prioritizing availability and scalability.
• Work on the web application layer, backend APIs and high throughput data pipelines to build and maintain multi level architecture stack
• Set up and maintain monitoring tools and dashboards to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues
• Participate in and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices

What experience or knowledge should you bring?

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering from a reputable university OR minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with object-oriented programming using Python, Java or Go.
• Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and grasp complex functionalities of software products.
• Working experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Redis, Kafka for data storage and messaging.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and Docker as deployment platforms
• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is required.

Advantages:

• Experience with Graph databases such (e.g. Neo4J, JanusGraph)
• Experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA) Rego for policy enforcement.
• Experience with gRPC for high-performance RPC communication.
• Experience with Linux virtualization technologies.
• Experience with Java or Golang for backend development.
