Bachelors degree or engineering degree in Telecommunications/Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum of 15+ years experience in Network services, deep knowledge of and management in complex environment.
Experience in network designs/configurations, managing, supporting and deploying network infrastructures.
Strong ability to diagnose network alerts, events or issues.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and with minimal supervision.
Good oral and written communication skills, and ability to address conflict with others constructively.
Good understanding on network technologies TCP/IP, VRRP, DNS, ARP, STP, Trunking, & Port Channeling, VRF, IPsec and TLS.
Proficient in Standard Routing Protocols such as OSPF, ISIS, BGP, Route Policy, QoS, VRRP, Multicast, LDP and MPLS.
Hands-on experience in enterprise network devices and support various devices issues.
Hands-on experience in campus Lan switching architecture deployment and support using various industry devices.
Hands-on experience in handling Nokia 7X50/77XX/7210 hardware/software and CLI will be preferred
Hands-on experience in handling configuring and troubleshooting Nokia services as well as SDPs, VPLS, VLL,IES, VPRN will be preferred.
Hands on experience in handling FortiGate Firewall or equivalent in large enterprise environment
Hands on experience in working with load balancer.
Ability to acquire Nokia Router product knowledge, learn CLI and deployment would be considered.
Strong knowledge in DNS solution, experience in handling cloud DNS and PaaS services
Expertise level in handling complex routing design, routing issue with multi-vendor environment
Experience in IPv6 routing architecture and deployment expertise
Strong knowledge on Enterprise wired and wireless network, firewalls, virtualization, load balancing/
Understanding of ITIL processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Eager and capable to work in a global multi-cultural team and to develop him/her self

Sr. Technical Specialist is responsible for IT service management handling Incident management, Problem management, Change management with complete knowledge of technical design, functionality, configuration, performance and quality of network service. This is a position in IT network function for enabling reliable service for IT network services with functional responsibilities including:
Defines project/program, deliverables, milestones, structure and governance.
Prepares the investment proposal preparation and business case (including relevant business& IT value impact)
Chooses or follows the appropriate method and tools to manage the project, in order to enhance agility and agile development methodologies, adapts appropriate PM practices.
Preparing and planning scope and commitment against approved budget, schedule and quality expectations, ensuring successful accomplishment of the project/program.
Project structure, governance, cost planning, controlling and reporting, risk management, change management, communication & training.
Concept creation, testing and IT related activities. Piloting and deployment related activities
Manages approvals, validations and steering group meetings. Manage change control.
Drive critical P1 incident technically to resolve, provide workarounds to ensure high service uptime.
Handle escalated incident, track it to closure managing all stakeholders and senior management.
Identify design related gaps that caused the incident and propose for preventive action.
Review top problem contributor area, drive to bring improvements and long-term resolution.
Work through problem management process to support technical implementation.
Track high availability test for devices and service following industry best-practices.
Find opportunity for automation scripts, resulting in reduced time spend on manual tasks.
Ensure all IT Service Management processes are managed through an ITSM tool.
Coordinate with cross technology technical team to resolve the issue.
Comply to change management process for change implementation.
Additional duties as required and possible remote implementation assistance on special projects
