Job Description

As a Software/ Senior Software Engineer on our team, you ll gather user requirements and build code using an Agile methodology, delivering continual product improvements in conjunction with other team members.

You ll contribute across the full range of technology stack, from backend services, database design and DevOps infrastructure supporting continuous deployment.

You ll work in cross-functional team with the Product Owner, UI/UX designers, SMEs, and other engineers to develop digital products through Agile methodology.
Education and Experience :
Background in computer science, information systems or bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Insurance/Financial services background preferred.

Position type- Full Time
Any Graduate or Post-Graduate (full time)
Required years of experience: 6-12 Relevant in Appian
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Focus on business logic and process flows, working on the design and development of business logic, process models/flows and UI screens.
Work closely with Business Analysts to review user stories and analyze implementation methods and architectures.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and work in an Agile environment.
Design and implementation of Appian applications integrate via APIs hosted in the Cloud infrastructure.
Design and develop database objects to support applications.
Translate requirement specifications into Appian process model prototypes and solutions.
Problem Solver and ability to estimate and size Appian business requirements.
Debug issues in Interfaces and Process Models.
Participating in reviews, test plans reviews, and release postmortems.




SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :
Minimum Appian Certified Senior Developer certification
Ability to write complex Appian Code.
Strong understanding of Appian Objects such as Records, Reports, Tasks, News, Sites, Actions, Expression Rules, Constants, Query Rules, Web API, Interface Rules, and Process Models
Strong knowledge of Appian Process/Solution and Infrastructure Architecture.
Hands-on experience using Appian Plugins (Smart Services, Function Plugins, and Servlet Plugins) Connected Systems, and Component UI Plugins & API integration.
Proficiency in SQL programming and relational databases.
Understanding and hands-on experience with Agile software development methodologies.

Strong desire to learn customer business processes.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Highly adaptable to rapidly changing environments and situations.
Effectively prioritizes work and has well-honed problem-solving skills.
Mandatory Appian L2 Certification.
