We are looking for a new team leader with a dynamic personality, who has experience in vehicle diagnostics in aftersales domain for luxury passenger car market. The role is responsible for teams handling Diagnostics content development, Series maintenance Field support of the Mercedes-Benz After-Sales Diagnostic tool along with spare part management.
This profile reports to Deputy General Manager (L4) and requires minimum 12 years of experience in Automotive After-Sales and Parts Management domain.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead a team of aftersales engineers towards developing and maintaining diagnostic content troubleshooting for the Mercedes-Benz Aftersales diagnostic tool-Xentry in schedule with the launch of new vehicle models.
Development and implementation of a large complex/multi medium sized project through a Body diagnostics spare parts team.
Gather requirement and define work scope, strategic planning, establishing the working model with German Business Partners and handling teams projects from concept to delivery.
Solving field concerns for the body electronics while working with various technical partners and understanding criticality impact of the same.
Project management (tools, reports, techniques, methodologies practices)
People management - Evaluating suitability of resource for a project, performance monitoring, appraisal feedback, mentoring, motivation for people development.
Making project plans, tracking, presentation, and reporting (MS Office tools)
Drive innovation develop competence required for new and existing business.
Skills Required:
Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams, including competence development and team ramp up.
Good project management skills with expertise in handling complex projects in internationally diverse environment and teams spanning multiple domains.
Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining diagnostics content for car ECUs,
Good understanding of ECUs, software lifecycle, test cycle and release management and relevant IT systems.
Knowledge about automotive spare parts management systems and processes.
Ability to focus on continuous improvement of processes and ensuring highest quality of project deliverables.
German language, product development knowledge will be an added advantage.
Working experience at dealerships/workshops will be an added advantage.
