Job Description
- Looking for a Senior Merchandiser having worked with European clients like Zara, Mango directly.
- Collaborate with the design and product development team to understand customer requirements, trends, specifications and assist them in creating product prototypes and samples according to clients expectations.
- Preparing cost sheets and pricing of garments, Monitor and analyse production costs to maintain competitiveness in the market.
- Negotiating cost & delivery lead time of the product to match the target from client, and convert the enquiry of the product to the sales of the product.
- Assist in receiving and processing purchase orders from clients, ensure accuracy in order details, quantities, and timelines.
- Preparation of TNA and a strong follow up with internal team and related concerns to meet the deadlines anyhow.
- Arranging timely and accurate samples, lab dips, bulk fabric and all necessary submissions to client, and following up for the approvals against the submissions to meet the production cut date.
- Collaborate with internal Sourcing team for the sourcing of the material, if required identify and liaise with fabric and accessory suppliers, check quotes, negotiate prices, visiting mills for the approvals and addressing issues, proactively and ensure timely sourcing of materials while maintaining quality standards.
- Work closely with Production team to monitor the progress of garment production, Track production schedules, address production-related issues, and ensure timely completion and dispatch of the orders.
- Co-ordinate with the quality assurance team in quality control processes and to ensure that garments meet the required quality standards of client.
- Planning and attending the inspections of samples and bulk production to identify and resolve any concerns.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to provide updates on order status, resolve queries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
