Role & responsibilities

Job DescriptionThe role holder will be responsible to lead a Category -Design Department

He/She will be responsible for leading the design department & product development for the category assigned. Will be responsible for giving textile /fabric and printing direction to vendors/buyers. Prepare and present ROP's (Range on Paper) to team. Check and finalize the sample received for approvals.

Work with cross functional departments such as Buying team ,sourcing, planning team. He / She will lead a team of 2 - 3 people. Study and analyze various report and market trends from time to time.Who can applyIdeal candidate would be someone from Retail industry with 6 - 14 years of proven work experience in a similar role, managing design and product development for Mens wear.
Education - NIFT/Textile design backgroundSkills neededCommunication, planning, decision making, critical thinking and team Handling skills. Must be able to hand hold and groom the team members under him / her.  Locations Thane HO
