Job Description
Role Overview:
The Testing Squad Manager will lead a team of testing professionals in the development, execution, and optimization of testing strategies. This role involves coordinating testing activities across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with international regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of quality within the organization.
What will you do in this role:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of testing professionals ( e.g.,QA Analysts, Test Engineers).
- Set clear objectives for the team, conduct performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
- Facilitate training and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, regulatory affairs) to develop comprehensive testing strategies for new and existing pharmaceutical products.
- Define testing scope, resources required , and timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Ensure that testing processes and documentation comply with regulatory standards such as FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and changes that may impact testing procedures.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of test plans, protocols, and reports.
- Manage the execution of various testing methodologies, including but not limited to stability testing, validation testing, and performance testing.
- Identify potential risks associated with testing and product quality and implement mitigation strategies.
- Conduct root cause analysis for any issues identified during testing and develop corrective action plans.
- Lead initiatives for process improvement and optimization of testing methodologies and tools.
- Analyze testing data and metrics to drive insights for product quality and process efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for testing-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and present reports on testing outcomes and quality metrics to senior management.
- Assist in budgeting for testing activities, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
What Should you have:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical testing, quality assurance, or related fields .
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within a multinational organization.
- Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Manager, or equivalent familiarity with quality management systems.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards (e.g., cGMP, GLP).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in project management and testing methodologies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
