Job Description
As a part of this team you ll work alongside the brightest minds. As an Implementation Engineer you will work to ensure all retailer data streams are supported and loaded into the system in a quality and scalable manner. Responsibilities will include engaging with internal business stakeholders as well as Engineering for implementing and validating new and enhanced feeds into Circana s platform.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with key stakeholders to understand retailer supply chain data and align with Circana data definitions and data models
- Manage data flow and accuracy from many data trading partners, from data receipt through production load into internal systems
- Participate in data migration activities to include data validation and QA against previous databases
- Provide necessary feedback and participation on testing procedures ensuring overall system quality and data quality of the solutions
- Design, implement or operate comprehensive data maintenance and load processes to balance optimization of data access with batch loading and resource utilization factors, according to customer requirements
- Support troubleshoot user requests implementations using SQL tools or Excel
- Configure or update data flow process models using ETL tools
- Create procedures, test files, and processes to automate data flow and ensure accuracy of data into the internal system
- Identify trends and quality gaps from the analysis and monitoring of data to improve the customer experience
Skills and Experience Required
- University Degree preferably related to business information systems, computer science, and/or supply chain
- Working knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
- 4+ years of relevant work experience preferred
- Proficient in writing basis SQL
- Experience working with retail data such as POS, Inventory, and Supply Chain preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc )
- Excellent creative problem-solving skills
- Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and provide accurate timelines for completion
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be customer service oriented with strong follow up skills
