Job Description
The Senior Technical Project Consultant is a customer facing role and acts as the technical lead for project execution teams. A Senior Technical Project Consultant will become a trusted advisor to Quickbase customers, leading technical efforts to deliver custom tailored business applications. You will provide technical expertise, project implementation, and project execution for our customers through the Quickbase platform and its technologies. The Senior Technical Project Consultant is responsible for all technical delivery and will delegate & provide architectural and technical direction to other project team members. As a key member of the Customer Success team, you will partner with Sales, Customer Success Managers, Project Managers, Product Trainers, Solution Architects, and other key people, to ensure the success of our technical projects and overall success of our customers. You will work with a variety of businesses and people across a wide variety of industries and professional levels. You will be tasked with using Quickbase features and technology to solve complex business problems and automate business processes. Creativity and problem-solving skills are a must. You will need to be able to manage multiple customers, team members, personalities, and priorities.

Responsibilities:
A Senior Technical Project Consultant reports to the Manager of Project Services and will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
Lead client facing and internal meetings with other members of the technical project team, to review requirements, develop specifications, design diagrams, test scripts, feature breakdowns, and more.
Design, architect, and construct relational business application using the Quick Base platform
Provide exceptional customer service and become the customers trusted advisor for the Quickbase platform.
Work with Sales, Project Management, Customer Success, Enablement Consultants, Customer Education, and Product Management to ensure successful project execution and continuous growth and satisfaction for our customers.
Ensure successful delivery of technical project consulting services through effective project, engagement, and customer management
Business processes mapping and develop structured workflows to support business processes.
Maintain client confidence, and strict data confidentiality.
Work with Technical Project Developers to specify and implement extended API functionality, in addition to the functionality offered directly in the Quickbase platform.
Work with the Quickbase Pipelines technology to implement custom processes and integrations within the Quickbase platform and with other external systems or platforms.
Perform advanced spreadsheet manipulation of data for ingestion into Quickbase .
Delegate technical duties to other members of the project team
Thoroughly test their own work, or the work of others for errors and accuracy before presentation to clients.
Solicit client feedback on designs and solutions and incorporate feedback into the solution.
Train client teams or other internal team members on the solution.
Stay current of all forms of remote communication used within the organization, such as email, IM, and meeting schedules.
Responsible for meeting billable utilization goals, set by the Project Services leadership.
Education:
A Masters/ Bachelor s Degree in Business , Business Analysis, Operations, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
Licenses/Certifications:
Quickbase Expert Builder Certification
Quickbase Pipelines Certification
Experience:
2+ years of Quickbase experience with a strong focus on project execution and implementation.
4+ years managing project teams in a Technical Lead or equivalent role
4+ years of relational based database design and integration experience.
2+ years experience involving automation/system integration tools such as Zapier, Workato , Pipelines, MS Flow
Fundamental understanding of web service technology (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON) and scripting languages (JS, ReactJS, Node.JS, .NET).
Curiosity about Business Process, experience in optimizing and automating processes
Experience providing senior-level support to technical project teams
General working knowledge of API s
Experience working with ERP solutions and enterprise software systems
Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.)
Familiarity with project management concepts, business process mapping and process improvement strategies.
Skills:
Quickbase application development and build-out
Ability to work independently and professionally in a virtual environment.
Strong Verbal and Written US English communication Skills a must
Fluency in other languages a plus
Strong Excel skills including data manipulation and analytics
PowerPoint Skills a plus
Must be able to clearly communicate (oral and written) with peers and clients daily and proactively reach out for assistance when required.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Deadline and detail-oriented
Must demonstrate a desire to grow within the organization and be a continuous learner.
Enthusiasm for new technologies and portfolio expansion

Yes, but may be infrequent

No, but leadership on larger project teams is available with advancement into Team Lead and Managerial Roles within the career path.
