Senior General Manager - Corporate API Projects

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are in search of a seasoned professional to join our team as Senior General Manager, specializing in both Greenfield and Brownfield API Pharmaceutical projects.

The ideal candidate should possess a wealth of experience in project execution. As a crucial member of our organization, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in spearheading assigned global Pharma projects , ensuring their successful execution and delivery.

KEY STAKEHOLDERS: INTERNAL

Executive Leadership Team, Project Management Team, Engineering Team, Supply Chain Management, Finance, HR Department, Operational Team

KEY STAKEHOLDERS: EXTERNAL

Design Firms, Engineering Contractors, Statutory and Regulatory agencies, Technology and Equipment suppliers, vendors, Professional Association and Networks

REPORTING STRUCTURE:

Role Reports to Sr. VP - Global engineering and Projects Head

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:

BE Chemical with 20-25 years of Experience.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 20-25 years of experience in leading Pharmaceutical API Projects and executing civil electrical, mechanical Utilities and HVAC systems of large greenfield projects showcasing expertise in design, execution, commissioning, and qualification.
• Expertise in project estimation, contracting ,contractor management with appropriate project management practices /tools .
• Experience in Selection , procurement and installation of manufacturing equipment .
• Demonstrated leadership acumen with the ability to lead project management teams and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Independently manage multiple projects, leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with site teams, contractors, safety, quality, and finance departments.

Project Design and Execution:

Lead the design and execution of both Greenfield and Brownfield Active PHarmaceutical Ingredient projects.

Strategic Leadership:

Provide strategic leadership to ensure alignment of projects with organizational goals and industry best practices.

Global Project Management:

Manage and oversee global Pharma projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Innovative Solutions:

Drive the integration of innovative solutions in project design and execution, with a focus on technological advancements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of various project elements.

Departmental Initiatives:

Take a lead role in driving departmental initiatives, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and industry standards in project design and execution.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate risks associated with Pharmaceutical projects, both Greenfield and Brownfield.
