General Manager - Projects - Construction (20-30 yrs)

A. Job Description:

General Manager - Projects will head all the projects in a region. There will be GM south, north, west and east. GM - Projects will report to Head - Projects.

He will be supported by Project Managers for each of the projects, Asst Manager - Planning and Engineer - QS.

- Strong leader who will drive the project management team & contractors.

- Excellent understanding of the project development.

- Strong contract administrator.

- Will be required to take ownership of development independently.

B. Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Qualification: B.E.(civil), any post-graduate qualification/s will be an advantage.

2. Experience: Minimum industry experience of 20 years. Experience in Gulf/Far-East shall be preferred.

3. Should have handled multiple projects, especially industrial / logistics parks.

4. Well versed with -

- Project planning & monitoring. Using MS Projects.

- Planning project development strategy.

- Design management.

- Contract management.

- Preparation of financial statements and tracking.

- Shall have sound experience in ensuring highest quality standards in construction.

- Very good at management reporting. Including presentations.

- Shall have a proven record of implementing best HSE practices.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Should have successfully handled all aspects of projects - civil, steel structure, MEP, infrastructure and land development.

- Should be a good team leader.

- Shall be very good at handling large teams.

- Exposure to multi-national work environment preferred.
