Executive / Sr. Executive Freight Procurement

Role & responsibilities

Daily Spot rate finalization-
- Collating the requirement for Daily Spot rates from stakeholders, float RFQ by setting Auctions on the Auction Platform for Primary Transportation of Finished Goods and Stock Recalls.
- Take Approval from Sr Manager/Manager Freight for Auction results and maintain Approval records.
- Communicate the Approvals to the Transport Vendors.

Fortnightly Adhoc rate finalization-
- Float RFQ by setting Auctions on auction platform every 15 days for Adhoc Transporters for Contractual lanes
- Take Approval from Sr Manager / Manager Freight for Auction results and maintain Approval records.
- Communicate the Approvals to the Transport Vendors.

Secondary Freight Ex Hub-
- Support Sr Manager Freight in Setting Auctions for Secondary Freight Annual Contracting, Seasonal Contacting for Distemper dispatches and share the outcome.
- Post Approval as per Authority matrix, communicate the transporters the Contractual lanes and validity.
- Float Auction at Quarterly basis to cover high frequency spot lanes to Annual Contract

Service-
- Support the Logistics team for placements when there is an urgency / repeated placement failure.

MIS-
- Prepare MIS on volume data for Secondary Hub for Truck Mix and Maintain trip data.

Others-
- Supporting role to coordinate with Transporters for NDC and collate Outstanding statements.
- Support Manager Freight for maintaining Transporter Agreements

Preferred candidate profile

Should have experience in MS Office, High proficiency in Excel, Ability to grasp new Systems,
