Job Description
Weare looking for Buyer for procurement of ACC, BOP, Auxiliaries and Accessoriesin Cement, Oil and Gas, Fertilizer, Chemical and Process Industries
Roledescription:
- Preparation of BOM/BOQ and RFQ for Equipments/Items-ACC,Dampers, Deaerator, Valves, Piping and other material for WHRS projects.
- Review of offers from varioussub-contractors, Techno-commercial comparison statement preparation. Selectionof competent vendors.
- Preparation of fabrication anddelivery schedule and monitoring.
- Coordination with internal and SCMTeam for manufacturing and delivery.
- Arrange approvals of documents fromcustomer and consultants.
- On Time execution
- Risk management includingidentification and monitoring.
- Responsible for purchasing of equipments,supplies or equipment. Key focus on -procurement, supplier relationships,delivery on time.
- Establish and sustain cost-effectiveinventory management systems
- Locate and select through formalprocess vendors of materials, equipment or supplies.
- Prepare and process requisitions andpurchase orders for supplies and equipment.
- Control purchasing departmentbudgets.
- Establish rate contracts asapplicable.
- Generate and submit adequate MISreports for entire Materials function.

- Qualification:BE Mechanical
- Having 10-12 Year of experience inprocurement of equipments for WHR and Power plant commodities.
- Direct interaction and coordinationwith all related sub vendors
- Familiarity with IBR/ASME/IS Codes.Must good knowledge of ASME Code for Materials like Steels (Carbonsteel, Alloy steel, Stainless steel) & many other materials usedin steel factories.
- Experience with software programssuch as Excel, AutoCAD
- Experience with reviewing designdrawings to perform steel takeoffs.
- SAP experience
- Strategic thinking,data analytics, commodity mapping & its technical evaluation andexperience in supplier development.
- Good commercial awareness(commercial terms).
- Ability to document, plan, market,and execute programs.
- Established project managementskills.
- Good communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent people management skills
