Manager- Procurement

Role & responsibilities

Liaises with Department heads to determine their Good and service needs.

Understand clear scope of work or Specifications

Researching potential vendors. Vendor evaluations.

Collection of initial quotes from vendors & negotiations

Negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricing.

Ensures that all procurement related to facilities / Services and equipment are on time and are cost effective.

Collection & Maintain of all documents as per standard process of Procurement.

Manage supplier relationship.

Ensure compliance of purchases in line with policies and procedures.

Ensure all orders are timely placed from SAP system.

Vendor data Base management

M.I.S for End-to-End procurement

Initial review of packages received from the vendors, for checking approved budget, TR (Technical Recommendations), legal terms & delivery period, taxes, Calculations of Price Basis, LPO value/Cost estimation.

If found any deviations from the standards, then raising query for clarification from the vendor and or concerned users.

Preparing standard terms & conditions with respect to the package & circulating to concerned vendors for their confirmation.

Scheduling the negotiations based on suitable dates.

Meeting timelines in completion of PR to PO

Preferred candidate profile

10 to 15 years of post-qualification work experience.

Experience of Facility management/Hospital / Hospitality/ Healthcare / NGO services industry background preferable.
