Senior Executive – Direct Tax

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Executive Direct Tax. The Sr. Executive Direct Tax will be responsible for overseeing the TDS Compliances.

The ideal candidate will have strong Knowledge of Direct Tax.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of computation / Working of TDS & TCS on Monthly basis and ensure to timely deposit of TDS/ TCS. Monitoring unconsumed TDS/ TCS payment challan.
2. Posting of all tax payment / JV and other Tax related entries in ERP / FCA on real time.
3. Preparation of Quarterly TCS & TDS Returns data and Filing the return on time (24Q, 26Q, 27Q, 27EQ).
4. Preparation of Monthly Tax MIS and share with the Tax Head.
5. Reconciliation of TDS/ TCS Liability with GL, trend analysis of the TDS / TCS payments and reasons for variances on monthly Basis
6. Co-ordinate with consultant to arrange the Form 15CA-CB. Ensuring end-to-end repository of documents and Form 15CA/ 15CB in relation to the foreign remittances.
7. Generation and issue of TDS certificates, Form 16/16A etc on timely basis.
8. Assisting to Tax Head in Tax Audit / Transfer Prising & ITR Filing.
9. Preparation of tax audit schedules w.r.t. TDS/ TCS provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961
10. Good Knowledge of applicability of TDS sections on Domestic Transactions and International transaction.
11. Preparation of tax audit schedules and getting the same filed with the consultants
12. Daily payouts through the bank account and passing entries for payouts
13. Daily reconciliation of bank and cash accounts, with the ERP system and controlling on the receipts and payments.

Required Competencies:

• 1-2 years of Experience in the field of Direct Tax Compliances.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google sheets.
• Knowledge of Direct tax laws and treasury process.

Work Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Direct Tax and treasury process.
