Job Description

1. Raw Materials & Components orders creation, analysis and release.

2. Planning, scheduling and procurement of direct material required for final product assembly.

3. Follow up potential material shortages.

4. Components & Raw Material stock follow-up & stock variations based on MPS updates.

5. GAP to stock target analysis & Stock reduction plan.

6. Meeting schedule compliance and quality norms, for all the items procured.

7. Supplier Delivery Performance follow-up, and Managing vendor supply chain & monthly planning of their items.

8. Co-ordination with Stores & PPC functions for inventory control.

9. Follow up Engineering Changes implementation and impact in RM/Components to avoid obsolescence raise claims if needed

10. Components & RM Packaging, maintain the PDS of all existing child parts and new projects child parts.

11. RFQ floating &supplier selection, negotiations /ratings for new and existing for non productive items.

12. Responsible for MIS (Weekly / Monthly)

13. Responsible for IATF 16949 / ISO 14000, OHSAS documentation and Audits.

14. Import Purchase knowledge is must.

15. MRP calculation.

Qualification

B.E. (E&Tc.)/ Dip (E&Tc.) or Mech.

Experience Required

5-8 Years in Lighting Assembly, Plastic parts , fasteners and proprietary parts
