We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer - Special Process to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating special processes within our manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and driving process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement special process procedures, work instructions, and control plans in accordance with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of special processes, including heat treatment, plating, and coating, within the production environment.
- Perform process validation and capability studies to ensure that special processes meet performance and quality requirements.
- Lead investigations and root cause analysis of special process-related issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- Support the development and maintenance of supplier relationships for special process-related materials and services.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize special process performance, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
- Stay current with the latest technical developments and best practices in special process technologies and standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on special processes such as heat treatment, plating, and coating.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and specifications related to special processes, including Nadcap, AMS, ASTM, and customer-specific requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in process development, validation, and improvement.
- Proficiency in problem-solving techniques, statistical analysis, and root cause investigation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
