Engineer/Sr. Engineer - (FEA, Multi-Body Dynamics and Optimization)

As we expand our engineering capabilities, we seek a dynamic Manager to lead our FEA (Finite Element Analysis) , Multi-Body Dynamics and Optimization team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the structural integrity, performance, and efficiency of our machinery.

Role Overview

The Manager (FEA, Multi-Body Dynamics and Optimization) will be at the forefront of our product development process. You'll lead a team of skilled engineers, collaborate with cross-functional groups, and drive simulation-based design improvements. Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of FEA analysts, multi-body dynamics specialists, and optimization engineers.

Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Set clear goals, monitor progress, and ensure timely project delivery.

FEA and Multi-Body Dynamics Simulation:

Oversee the application of FEA and multi-body dynamics techniques to analyze mechanical components, structures, and systems.

Collaborate with design engineers to validate and optimize product designs.

Ensure accurate boundary conditions, material properties, and load cases.

Structural Optimization:

Drive optimization efforts to enhance product performance, weight reduction, and durability.

Utilize optimization algorithms (such as topology optimization, shape optimization, or parameter optimization).

Balance trade-offs between stiffness, strength, and weight.

Collaboration with R&D and Design Teams:

Work closely with R&D teams to integrate simulation results into the design process.

Provide insights on design modifications based on simulation findings.

Collaborate on new product development and enhancements.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Ensure that simulation models adhere to industry standards and best practices.

Validate simulation results through physical testing and correlation.

Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.

Qualifications

Master’s or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in FEA, multi-body dynamics, and optimization.

Proficiency in simulation software.

Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of structural mechanics.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

This position is based at our R&D center in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
