About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Wide Body Engineer specializing in technical documentation for Airbus A300 and A310 aircrafts. The role involves creating, cross-checking, and proofreading aircraft maintenance manuals (AMM), structural repair manuals (SRM), component maintenance manuals (CMM), wiring diagram manuals (WDM), and illustrated parts catalogs (IPC). The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy, compliance, and quality of technical documentation to meet aerospace industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:Authoring:

• Create and update technical documentation for A300 and A310 aircrafts.
• Develop and revise AMM, SRM, CMM, WDM, and IPC manuals using Airbus-authorized authoring tools.
• Adhere to ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D standards.
• Review authored manuals for technical accuracy and completeness.
• Validate compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and style guides.
• Conduct thorough proofreading of technical manuals to ensure grammatical accuracy and consistency.
• Verify adherence to document formatting and terminology standards.
• Coordinate with technical authors, subject matter experts, and engineers to resolve discrepancies.
• Work closely with quality teams to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
• Perform root-cause analysis for errors identified during review and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure documents meet safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:
• 3–8 years of experience in authoring, cross-checking, or proofreading technical manuals for Airbus A300 and A310 aircrafts.
• Strong understanding of AMM, SRM, CMM, WDM, and IPC documentation.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Airbus-specific tools such as Airbus Documentation Authoring System (ADAS), SGML/XML editors, and other content management systems.
• Familiarity with ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D standards, and technical illustration tools.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
