Junior Quality Analyst / Proof Reader

Job Description:

• Proofread and edit Japanese content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style consistency.
  • Ensure accuracy and clarity of translated documents.
  • Collaborate with translators and writers to maintain the quality of content. • Verify the accuracy of terminology and context in translated materials.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving content quality.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Verify the accuracy of voiceover for video projects
  Requirements:
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese.
  • Strong command of English.
  • Proven experience in proofreading and editing Japanese content.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with translation and localization processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using proofreading tools and software.
  Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Japanese, Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
  • Experience in the Healthcare and pharma sector.
  • Knowledge of cultural nuances and regional variations in the Japanese language.

Must Have:

Should be able to take Print, Digital Web Japanese projects.
• Performing the second check for new folks until the new folk is/are certified
• Should be able to take knowledge-sharing sessions with the team • Should be able to help the team members and help with their queries
• Should be able to take up responsibility in the absence of a Senior Quality Analyst
• Should be part of the team activities across the different streams of the BU
• Should work as a team in achieving the goals
Qualification:
• A graduate or Diploma in Japanese language specialist
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and good time management
• Good team working skills
• Good in MS Office and Adobe PDF skills and Print proofing tools skills
• Able to communicate effectively through a range of media, to various levels in the organization
