Job Description

We are looking out for Safety engineer having good experience in renewable energy industry. This position is currently based out of Rajasthan and shall need to travel based on project needs.

Roles and Responsibilities

Implementation and continuous monitoring of HSE policies and procedures to support the business and create a safe working environment for on-site and office activities.
Assessment and approval of subcontractor safety plans.
Evaluate contractor and subcontractor HSE programs and performance and ensure compliance with the statutory HSE requirements.
Ensure that safety inspections are carried out
Ensures the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company HSE Systems.
Promote high level Health, safety, and environment awareness through training programs.
Conduct baseline studies of environment and social aspects which are likely to be affected by the development of solar PV plant.
Proficient at developing the HSE plan and delivered in accordance with Codes, Guidelines, and Indian Standards and project design specifications.
Conducted internal HSE audits, inspections and risk assessments and implementing various measures to achieve high safety in the organization.
Responsible for risk assessment for each activity, participated in the process of investigation, recording of accidents and HSE related incidents.
Conduct E&S impact assessment for the Project considering construction, operational and decommissioning phases of plants.
Propose mitigation measures to eliminate, minimize or manage identified potential significant environmental effects to the project.
Conduct HSE inspections, audits, track performance of team providing construction monitoring support to solar PV projects and report trends to management.
Shall carry out audits/inspection as per HSE requirements.
Perform risk assessments to support Health, Safety and Environment objectives of the company.
