Position: Senior Fundraising Specialist
- Experience: 10+ years in fundraising for alternative investments, wealth management, or asset management.
- Industry: Alternative Investment Funds, Wealth Management, Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Credit.
About the Role:
- We are seeking a seasoned Fundraising Specialist to lead and drive capital-raising efforts.
- This role involves building and nurturing relationships with UHNI (Ultra High Net Worth Individuals), family offices, institutional investors, and wealth advisors/distributors.
- The ideal candidate will have deep experience in fundraising for private equity, private credit, or other alternative investment funds, as well as a proven network in the wealth management ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Investor Relations & Fundraising:
- Raise capital from UHNI, family offices, institutions, and other sophisticated investor classes.
- Build and execute fundraising strategies, ensuring consistent delivery against targets.
Distribution Channel Development:
- Collaborate with wealth advisors, distributors, and private banking channels to drive investment inflows.
- Develop strategic partnerships with leading wealth management firms such as Avendus, ASK, 360 One, Kotak, Nuvama, and others.
Networking & Relationship Management:
- Build strong, trusted relationships with investors and distribution channels.
- Actively engage and educate investors on fund performance, strategies, and market dynamics.
Product Structuring & Communication:
- Work with internal teams to structure offerings that align with market demand and investor requirements.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, marketing collateral, and investment proposals tailored to sophisticated investors.
Market Intelligence & Compliance:
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes, market trends, and competitor offerings.
- Ensure all fundraising activities comply with applicable legal and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years in fundraising or business development in alternative investments, asset management, or wealth management.
- Prior experience in private equity, private credit, hedge funds, or equity AMCs is a must. Real estate exposure is an advantage.
Industry Exposure:
- Deep knowledge of alternative investment funds and the wealth management ecosystem.
- Familiarity with firms such as Avendus, ASK, 360 One, Kotak, or similar is highly preferred.
Network:
- Established relationships with UHNI, family offices, institutional investors, and wealth distributors.
Skills:
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to close high-value transactions and deliver results.
