Engineer, Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, services, and APIs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality releases through automated and manual testing.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the Java ecosystem.

• bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) working as a Java Software Engineer or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Java , with a solid understanding of its core libraries, frameworks, and JVM internals.
• Experience with modern Java frameworks such as Spring , Spring Boot , and Hibernate .
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL , NoSQL , and ORM frameworks.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git .
• Strong understanding of software development principles such as object-oriented design, design patterns, and data structures.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven , Gradle , or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (eg, Scrum, Kanban).

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
• Experience with Docker , Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit , Mockito , and Selenium .

• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
