Job Description

- Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of MongoDB architecture, including replica sets, sharding, and data distribution.
- Experience with MongoDB performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
- Experience in database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for MongoDB.
- Database Security Maintenance:
- Knowledge of MongoDB security features such as SSL encryption, authentication, RBAC, and auditing.
- Implement and enforce security best practices for MongoDB, including user authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and data encryption.
- Monitoring Troubleshooting :
- Utilize tools like Grafana, Keyhole, and other monitoring systems to track database health and identify potential issues.
- Respond to and resolve database performance issues, connectivity problems, and other operational challenges.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 yrs strong experience with MongoDB database administration, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell for automation and monitoring.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring reliability and performance.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.
