Job Description
- Experienced with hands on full stack development in progressive stacks, such as C#, React, Redux, ASP Dotnet, Typescript
- Understanding of RDBMS, SQL and NoSQL alternatives
- Knowledge applying a test-driven CI/CD framework and culture at a team level
- Knowledge with AWS services such as S3, SQS, Lambda
Minimum and Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Degree in computer science or numerate discipline, or equivalent background
- 3-5 years of experience working on distributed C#, ASP Dotnet
- Thorough understanding of fundamental software engineering and computer science principles: object-oriented design, structured design, databases, algorithms, data structures, usability, refactoring debugging, agile software development methodology and industry best practices
- Excellent design and problem-solving skills
- Experience providing architectural guidance and mentoring others
- Motivation to acquire/increase knowledge of the financial sector is essential
- An understanding of derivatives is a plus
- Self-starter with a natural curiosity to learn and develop
- Open minded, flexible, and willing to adapt to changing situations
Nice to have:
- Financial services or data feeds experience
- Multithreading and performance
- Distributed applications
