Job Description
THE ROLE
S&P Global Commodity Insights is seeking candidates for our Apprenticeship program within our Commercial New Business team. This program offers a 12-months skill development in New Business Management team for Lead generation & qualification activities. The Apprentice will focus on Supporting the New business Team with lead generation cleanup & ensuring all leads, opportunities, activities, contacts, customer analysis, buying cycle status are accurately and promptly captured.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To support the New Business Team with lead generation cleanup.
Actively work on leads and qualify or reject them basis on interaction with prospects & drive a healthy pipeline funnel that is characterized by strong velocity and volume
Research for related customer/market intelligence
Geographic Whitespace analysis Reporting
Monthly activity reporting with feedback on leads
Ensures all leads, opportunities, activities, contacts, customer analysis, buying cycle status are accurately and promptly captured.
Continuous learning to maintain a high level of relevant domain/product knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with customers and prospects
What we are looking For
Bachelor s or Masters Degree with 0-2 years of experience in new business development,
Broad understanding of the energy & commodity industry including understanding the personas of front, mid and back office functions, as well as analysts is preferred
Strong Critical thinking, research and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation (verbal/ written) skills in English
Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment
