Shift Manager - Data Center (8-15 yrs)

This role will be based in Thane, Navi Mumbai site office.

Key responsibilities:

- Maintain 100% uptime of Datacenter.

- In depth knowledge and hands on experience of GIS Substation and Data Centers facilities such as GIS Switchgear, Power transformers, generators, HVAC system, UPS, electrical distribution systems, H.T. and L.T. Panels, fire detection and suppression systems, Bus-Duct System, etc.

- Excellent communication, decision making, conflict management, coaching and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross functional teams, vendors, and clients

- Carry Out various studies related to Reliability, SPOF etc. Adopting predictive maintenance practice, Automation in DC operation and adherence to company process management.

- Capacity Planning - Through regular monitoring of DC capacity, Design and implement strategic plans to ensure DC capacity meets existing and future requirements.

- Active Participant in project pre-construction for verifying & identifying operation related issues in the design & execution phase and provide the suitable solutions.

- Installs/Tests/Modifies/troubleshoots infrastructure equipment.

- Build, assess and continually improve internal and externally facing controlled documentation

- Finishes the assigned task and training in a timely manner.

- Actively champion and implement policies and procedures for occupational health & safety in the workplace, information security management, environmental management systems. incident management; and comply with all legal regulatory requirements of the organization.

- Ensure 100% compliance with all policies and procedures.

- Coordinating with the manager to ensure the All-Statutory forms were followed for the disposal of hazardous waste at the site level.

- Close coordination with EB officials (government authority) for GIS substation maintenance and shutdown related activities and approvals.

- Monitoring and planning of maintenance as scheduled, equipment performance measured against agreed recommendations by OEM, warranty and AMC status, Suppliers co-ordination with supplier providing annual maintenance services (AMC), Reports generation and SLA compliance as per agreements.

- Immediate Response to any emergency breakdown.

- Review AMC & SLA Compliance, improving the operational procedures to ensure quality service delivery.

- Risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure ensuring infrastructure is Up and Running 24x7.

- Monitoring and operating the Equipment's through SCADA.

- Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

- Coordinating with customers internal/ External Audit with respect to ISO and Technical.

- Spare management tracking with customers, weekly updates and follow-up with vendors for timely delivery of required critical spares.

- MOP, PTW & Risk Assessment preparing with Shift manager for Offline Pm Activity & Critical

- Activities and planning and implementation of Site Energy Savings.

- Responsible to maintain Datacenter neat and clean.

- Maintain transparency in communication with all stakeholders.

- Whenever new equipment or system is to be installed by OEM Suppliers, supervise installation and maintenance work conducted by external suppliers.

- Work closely with PMO Team for effective new projects handover and takeover.

The successful candidate:

- 8+ years' experience in Datacenter Operation.

- Experience of handling hyperscale datacenter.

- Knowledge of AWS Drawbridge.
