Job Description

Role Overview:


We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager / Sales Manager who can drive sales of our IT services in both the government and private sectors across India. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT sales, government tenders, corporate sales, and client relationship management.


Role & responsibilities:

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in government and private sectors for IT services.
  2. Generate leads, create sales pipelines, and convert prospects into clients.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, PSU officials, and private sector clients.
  4. Research and participate in government tenders, RFPs, and bidding processes.
  5. Pitch and present Software Consulting, Software Development, Web Development, and SaaS solutions to clients.
  6. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and close deals to meet sales targets.
  7. Stay updated on IT industry trends, government policies, and emerging technologies.
  8. Work closely with internal teams to deliver client-centric IT solutions.


Key Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience in IT services sales or business development.
  • Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, e-tendering, and GEM portal.
  • Proven experience in selling IT solutions (Software, Web Development, SaaS) to government & corporate clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage B2B sales, lead generation, and client onboarding.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel for business meetings and client interactions.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • MBA / Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience in dealing with government projects, PSU clients, and enterprise sales.
  • Understanding of IT service contracts, compliance, and legal frameworks.
