We are seeking a knowledgeable and organized Librarian to manage our library resources and assist students and staff in accessing academic materials.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the library, including cataloging, shelving, and organizing books.
• Assist students and staff in locating and accessing books and research materials.
• Develop and enforce library policies and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Evaluate and procure new books and resources based on academic needs.
• Organize and promote reading programs and library-related events.
• Ensure the library space is clean, organized and conducive to study and research.
• Stay updated with advancements in library technology and recommend improvements to library services.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors degree in Library Science or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in library management or a similar role in educational institutions.

Skills:

• Strong organizational skills to manage library operations effectively.
• Proficiency in library management software and basic tools.
• Friendly and professional demeanor to assist students, faculty and staff with their needs.
