S4/Hana BTP specialist

SAP S/4 HANA Senior Consultant Schneider Electric SE is a European multinational corporation that specializes in energy management and automation solutions, spanning hardware, software, and services. Schneider Electric is undergoing a global cloud transformation program, spanning 160 countries in all five continents, part of the Schneider Digital organization.

The SAP HANA Consultant will be a senior technical member reporting to Global Infrastructure Operations.

He/She is responsible for driving successful projects around SAP HANA, SAP BTP The role also demands expertise in the niche technology area of SAP Basis, SAP HANA, SAP NetWeaver, SAP Fiori, SAP Data Services, SAP SMART Finance Elements and Cloud technologies (Azure & AWS).

Key Experience: - Total above 7 years of SAP BASIS, SAP HANA, S/4 HANA, SAP BTP, SAP DATA SPHERE, experience including 3 years in Public or Private cloud (AZURE or AWS). - Enterprise Architecture with SAP solutions prior to S/4HANA with focus on Business Suite Products (ECC, SCM, CRM, SRM) and SAP NetWeaver Products (BW, Enterprise Portal, PI and Solution Manager) - Deep experience with SAP HANA architecture and technical concepts. - Knowledge of S/4HANA, Suite on HANA and HANA database as a foundation including the usages/implementation of Fiori Apps and HANA Live. - Experience in Enabling Smart Finance through Advanced Analytics and Dynamic Forecasting with SAP predictive analytics. - Mastery of the HANA knowledge including High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Backup/Recovery, Security related to HANA platform. - Experience and deep knowledge of SAP Basis / NetWeaver Administration. - Sizing and scoping of core SAP platforms (ECC, NetWeaver, SCM, BI/BW, Portal, XI/PI, Solution Manager, etc) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Creates documentation and work instructions. Mission: - Engineering and designing solutions to migrate from On Premise Data Centers to Public or Private cloud environment. (AWS). - Work with Cloud providers and business teams to troubleshoot application Performances on cloud environment and other business critical issues. - Understanding of the SAP HANA offering, the underlying technology and how HANA will be used and its advantages and disadvantages, on premise and in the cloud. - Creating SAP HANA information models such as Procedure and HANA Views (Attribute, Analytics and Calculation views) with graphical and SQL Scripting, SDA (Smart Data Access), SAP HANA Live (Analytics). - Organize Day-to-day operation (Administration/Monitoring tasks) of the S/4HANA, SAP HANA and ECC environments. - Ensure Security on SAP S/4 HANA.

Technical Skills: - Deep knowledge of SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology, including architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and system integration. - Hands on experience of implementation and conversion for S/4HANA solutions. - Experience and deep knowledge of SAP system migration (DMO tool) and upgrades. - Experience in SAP Sizing by using the SAP Quicksizer. - Deep knowledge of SAP Basis: Technical Planning, Installations and Configurations (SAP S/4 HANA ), Upgrades, OS/ DB Migrations, Unicode Conversions for SAP NetWeaver platform, SSO configuration, install SSL certificates, Familiar with BRTOOLS for Space management and SLT Installation & Configuration. -

Applying Support Package, Kernel patch upgrade, TMS configuration and Transport administration, General administration, Maintaining of Operation Modes and Profile Parameters, Background Job Management and customer raised tickets using BPC tool and ISM tool. - Experience in User Management. - Experience in SAP Backup and Recovery. - Hardware, operating systems and networking connectivity required for the SAP environment. - Elaboration of SAP release plan. -

Transport strategy. - Experience in Refreshes tasks, Client copies (local client copy, client export, client import). - SAP testing automation tools and strategies. - Monitoring: systems Logs, Work processes overview, Lock entries, Updates, background jobs, system health check - Incident Management: Troubleshooting the issues from OS level like work process monitoring, checking logs, checking OSS notes, provide Performance analysis and suggest solution to write the Root Cause Analysis. - Performance optimization and tuning: deep experience with SQL traces to achieve Performance Impact Analysis. - Strong scripting skills. Preferred Qualification: - Senior level (Level 3) experience in SAP is mandatory.

BTP Experience: - At least the last 4 years involved in the administration and operations of SAP BTP platform. Highly knowledgeable in SAP BTP architecture and its different runtimes (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, ABAP . Awareness of the main SAP BTP services and frameworks available in the 5 pillars: Application development, automation, integration, data & analytics, and artificial intelligence (Integration Suite, UI5, SAP Workzone, SAP CAP, HANA Cloud Database, Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, AI Hub, SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Automation, SAP Build Work zone, etc.).Highly knowledgeable in SAP BTP accounts, subaccounts and services administration and operations. Highly knowledgeable in architecting and implementing SAP BTP platforms for running resilient and highly available solutions. Knowledgeable in SAP BTP Security: Connectivity, authentication, authorization, SSO & Principal Propagation (SAP Cloud Identity Services).Knowledgeable in SAP BTP monitoring and observability using embedded SAP BTP services, SAP Cloud ALM or other non-SAP solutions as Splunk or Dynatrace. Experience in the management of the delivery lifecycle of SAP BTP solutions through DevOps with CI/CD Pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SAP BTP CI/CD).Awareness of the concept IAC (Infrastructure as a Code). Experience with Terraform and its SAP BTP provider would be valued.

Technical certification: Azure or AWS or S4 Hana. - Any experience with SAP on Cloud is highly desirable. - Certification in SAP S/4 HANA and OS/DB Migration. - SAP BASIS/NetWeaver certification a plus. - SAP Fiori knowledge is highly desirable. - Good knowledge on SAP Smart Finance.
