Backend Lead

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality backend applications and APIs using Python, Django, and Wagtail CMS.
Design and implement scalable solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with front-end applications.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs in existing applications.
Lead and mentor junior engineers, conducting code reviews and sharing best practices.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in backend development with Python, Django, and Wagtail CMS.
Proficient in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of serverless architecture.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web service integration.
Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and testing.
