Data Scientist | SBI Securities

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced data science techniques to analyze and interpret finance data for actionable insights.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to enhance business growth and performance.
• Implement machine learning algorithms for customer segmentation, churn prediction, and fraud detection.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to identify key variables and patterns.
• Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of data-driven strategies and initiatives.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging data science methodologies.

Key Competencies

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist in financial industry.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python & SQL.
• Expertise in machine learning techniques, including regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience with statistical modelling techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
