Infra Manager - IT

Role & responsibilities :-

• To establish vision for IT infrastructure & DevOps by leveraging cutting edge cloud technology to bring differentiated capabilities (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services. Define annual operating plan for IT infrastructure & DevOps

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
• Define annual operating plan for IT infrastructure & DevOps aligned with the business objectives to be achieved
• Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for Infrastructure architecture, security, disaster recovery, system access.
• Develop fully automated infrastructure management capability using cloud native technologies
• Develop fully automated release and deployment capability using cutting edge design & technologies
• Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support platform infrastructure and systems.
• Monitoring, measurement and optimization of all IT infrastructure costs and achieve economy of scale
• 24x7 monitoring of production infrastructure and support to achieve 99.99% infrastructure uptime
• Responsible for defining and managing integrated support SLAs, incident management, problem management, change/release management, and testing associated with non- impact, operational readiness, and transition acceptance.
• Forecast End User Computing (Desktops, Laptops and peripherals) needs based on organization head count projection.
• Management of End User Computing lifecycle from procurement to disposal
• Management of End User Computing support desk both on premise and remote assistance
• Management of Network Infrastructure from planning, provisioning, to monitoring
• Management of IT Infrastructure partners/vendors from selection, commercial negotiation to day to day management of work execution

Domain Knowledge Competencies :-

• 15+ years experience management of IT Infrastructure including Cloud Infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
• 5+ years experience of managing public cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
• 5+ years experience in management of DevOps deployment and execution
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools like Jenkins
• ITIL V3 Certification is preferred.
• Experience managing and influencing a diverse team.
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business case.
• Experience in Lean/Six-Sigma based process definition and execution.
• Has performed the role of Product Owner / Program Manager
• Knowledge of lean/agile practices - good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programs
• Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the Scrum teams.
