Job Title: Senior HR Executive/ Assistant Manager- People & Culture

Location: Mumbai, Kurla (West)

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Vice President People & Culture

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior HR Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, a passion for people development, and expertise in managing core HR functions, ensuring alignment with the organizations objectives. This role is pivotal in shaping our people practices and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employee Relations & Engagement:
  2. Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring a positive and open work culture.
  3. Develop and implement engagement programs to enhance employee morale and retention.
  4. Address and resolve employee conflicts and grievances professionally and in accordance with company policies.
  5. Recruitment & Onboarding:
  6. Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from talent sourcing and selection to onboarding.
  7. Work closely with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  8. Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees, introducing them to company culture and values.
  9. Performance Management:
  10. Manage the performance appraisal process, including setting KPIs, tracking performance, and providing training as necessary.
  11. Collaborate with managers to address performance issues and design development plans.
  12. Training & Development:
  13. Identify skill gaps and recommend training programs to enhance employee capabilities.
  14. Facilitate workshops and professional development initiatives tailored to employees' needs.
  15. HR Policy & Compliance:
  16. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, updating HR policies as required.
  17. Develop and review HR policies, ensuring they are communicated and implemented effectively.
  18. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and adhere to data protection regulations.
  19. Compensation & Benefits:
  20. Assist in designing and reviewing competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  21. Conduct market analysis to ensure the organization’s compensation structure remains attractive.
  22. HR Analytics & Reporting:
  23. Prepare and present HR metrics and analysis to guide management decision-making.
  24. Track key data points, such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of [specify years, e.g., 5+] years of experience in HR roles, with at least [specify years] in a senior capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HR software and data analysis tools.
