Apache Superset Developer

• We are seeking a talented Apache Superset Developer to join our team and help build robust data visualization and analytics solutions.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data visualization principles, experience with Apache Superset, and a passion for creating intuitive and impactful data dashboards.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience working with Apache Superset or similar data visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of SQL and data modelling.
• Proficiency in Python to address the backend code changes for Superset.
• Proficiency on UI technologies to make the look and feel changes JavaScript, Typescript, React , HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with web development frameworks (eg Flask App builder/ Flask, Django,Gunicorn, Webpack).
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts and tools (eg, ETL, data warehousing).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and design principles.
• Experience with data science and machine learning tools.
• Familiarity with other data visualization tools (eg, Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of Groovy on Grails preferred

Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirements analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Design, develop, and maintain Apache Superset dashboards and visualizations to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective data visualizations.
• Customize Supersets user interface and functionality to match specific business requirements.
• Integrate Superset with other data sources and systems.
• Develop and maintain custom plugins or extensions for Superset.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Superset deployments and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization and BI tools.
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
• Follow the true agile principles
