Role & responsibilities

Position: Palo Alto Firewall Engineer (L2/L3)

Responsibilities: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls across a global network.
Identify applications and traffic flow for security policy optimization.
Analyze and refine existing firewall rules to enhance security and performance.
Implement new firewall policies based on security best practices.
Review logs and fine-tune policies for continuous improvement.
Work closely with central team to align security strategies.
Support global clients, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network security.

Requirements:

L2 Engineer: 3+ years of experience in firewall administration and security.
L3 Engineer: 6+ years of experience with deep expertise in firewall architecture and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewall models (PA 220, 440, 460, etc.).
Strong knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and risk mitigation.
Experience with log analysis and security incident response.
Palo Alto certifications (PCNSA, PCNSE) preferred.
Ability to work in a hybrid model (2 days at Vikhroli office Location).
Flexibility to work across different global time zones.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee the successful execution of firewall deployment and optimization.
Coordinate between stakeholders, engineers, and central team.
Track project milestones, ensuring timely delivery and issue resolution.
Provide strategic guidance and ensure compliance with security policies.
