Officer - Stores

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Officer - Stores with 1-2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing and maintaining the storehouse operations, ensuring inventory control, and supporting the smooth distribution of products within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Ensure proper inventory levels of raw materials, finished goods, and other essential supplies. Regularly update inventory records and track stock movements.
• Receiving and Inspection: Receive and inspect incoming pharmaceutical products and materials against purchase orders and quality standards. Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
• Storage and Organization: Organize products in a systematic manner to optimize space and ensure easy accessibility. Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) or other relevant inventory methodologies.
• Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering or replenishment requests to ensure the availability of essential materials.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all stock transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns. Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal documentation standards.
• Quality Compliance: Ensure that storage conditions comply with regulatory requirements, such as temperature and humidity controls, and that pharmaceutical products are stored in the appropriate conditions.
• Order Fulfillment: Process internal material requisitions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to departments within the company.
• Audit Support: Assist in periodic stock audits and reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage areas. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines for handling and storing pharmaceutical products.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the procurement, production, and quality control teams to support the overall supply chain functions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Pharmacy, or related fields.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory standards related to pharmaceuticals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with barcode systems or ERP software for stock management.
• Knowledge of warehousing best practices within the pharma industry.
