Accounts Head

Objective of this Role:

The primary objective of this role is to perform comprehensive financial analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. This role requires close coordination with the finance team to maintain robust accounting practices and provide valuable insights to management for

informed decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and provide periodic reports to management as required.
• Manage month-end accounting activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.
• Generate and present financial reports and statements to aid managerial decision-making.
• Identify and resolve financial discrepancies, offering practical solutions.
• Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues, and report budget variances to management.
• Address accounting-related inquiries promptly and efficiently.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accountants as necessary.
• Assist in budget preparation and manage expenses for designated accounts.
• Support auditing processes by preparing documentation and providing necessary details.
• Ensure financial transactions comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Continuously review and improve existing accounting procedures.
• Handle GST and TDS registration and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Proven experience of 10-15 years, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax-related regulations.
• Expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and budget management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with audit processes and statutory compliance in the real estate sector.
