About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager - Finance, Accounts & Tax to join our growing team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, and providing valuable financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting:
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare and file statutory returns, including Income Tax, GST, TDS, TCS, and other applicable taxes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (Ind AS) and regulatory requirements.
Tax Compliance & Advisory:
- Advise on tax implications of business decisions and provide proactive tax planning strategies.
- Handle tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
Client Engagement & Service Delivery:
- Manage client engagements effectively, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing exceptional service.
- Proactively identify and address client needs and provide value-added services.
Team Management & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training needs for team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze key financial metrics, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial ratios.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support business decisions.
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- CA/CMA with 4+ years of relevant experience OR Post Graduate in Commerce with 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Income Tax, GST, and other relevant tax laws.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, Xero, or NetSuite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred:
- Experience in working with audit firms or consultancy organizations.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
- Experience in financial modeling and forecasting.
- Experience in managing a team.
