As an Associate NodeJS Developer & DevOps Engineer, you will join the SAP HANA XS based Apps Migration to Multicloud team and be overall responsible towards facilitating the deprecation of the XS[SAP HANA extended application services] Programming Model and help pave the way for the existing customers to move to CAP [Cloud Application Programming model] with HANA Cloud on Golden Path. To help support this migration journey by implementing efficient automated testing/release processes & also helping develop design time migration tools for HANA XS. To overall ensure seamless delivery for async-xsjs, hdbext libraries, XSA migration Assistant - On-premise tool and BAS i. e. Business Application Studio Extension.

Role/Responsibility:

• Oversee & own continuous build, integration, deployment, and automation of software utilizing tools like Jenkins.
• Administer and maintain cloud infrastructure services running on BTP by applying best practices throughout the lifecycle of the release. Implement containerization strategies for efficient software development using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop fully automated pipelines for software delivery using CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub Actions.
• Monitor system logs and activity on all servers.
• Develop BAS extension & VS[Visual Studio] code extension for Customer and Partners to support migration tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation and reliability of our development and production environments.
• Stay updated with emerging technology offerings and identify opportunities to move existing infrastructure to more modern, scalable solutions.
• Ensure critical resolution of system issues by using thorough root cause analysis techniques and coordinating with team members.

Professional Experience

• Education & Qualification - B. Tech/ M. Tech/ MCA in a related technical discipline, ideally in Computer Science.
• Work Experience [ 1-2 years]
• Must have good programming skills on NodeJS with working experience of NodeJS.
• Working knowledge of DevOps automation concepts, practices & procedures
• Strong knowledge in any scripting language for infrastructure automation (JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Groovy etc. )
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work under pressure
• Positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude with good communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, SAP BTP, etc. )
• Experience with Jenkins and Cloud Operation skills (Build, Deploy & Run)
