What you ll do :

We are looking for a Developer with a strong technical skillset to support SAP Globalization Logistics team focussed on accelerating the cloud transformation journey of our customers. As part of our team, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of SAP Document and Reporting Compliance by doing designs, coding, and quality assurance of massively scalable, mission critical cloud native products tightly integrated with SAP S/4HANA deployments. SAP Document and Reporting Compliance is owned by Globalization and it s being used by a huge number of customers from multiple industries across the globe, with a strong multiyear roadmap.

• As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in pioneering the integration of modern AI capabilities, actively shaping the infusion of Generative AI features right from the beginning. This is a rare opportunity to make a significant impact and be part of a groundbreaking journey.
• Take ownership of the entire development process, from designing and implementing user-friendly UIs to developing robust back-end functionalities and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP products.

• Gain valuable insights into the inner workings of critical business processes while engaging directly with our large customer base.
• Break down complex software requirements into daily tasks including design, review, coding, testing, test automation.
• Write high quality, efficient and maintainable code in accordance with standards and most recent best practices.
• Be flexible & open to work in any software development technologies based on advances in technology.
• Enthusiastic to work in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities form.
• Takes responsibility for own and team goals. Gives adequate directions, makes needs and requirements clear to achieve performance expectations.

What you bring

• The candidate should have at least 4 to 8 years of solid experience in ABAP OO language and debugging skills.
• Excellent professional software development experience
• Strong programming knowledge especially in SAP technologies like ABAP, ABAP OO, Database.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Core Data Services (CDS), SQL, OData Service
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues leveraging technical and product skills.
• Strong Knowledge of SAP solutions for Logistics processes (MM or SD)
• Exposure to customer interaction in understanding requirements and translating them to usable software.
• Familiarity with design patterns, Clean Code, Continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), Code review and Test-driven development (TDD) is desired.
• Having good knowledge on JavaScript or prior experience of developing Fiori apps is an added advantage.
• Graduating with good academic record from top universities.
• Web application programming concepts such as JavaScript, HTML are preferred.
• Customer interaction skills, ability to prioritize software requirements, ability to identify reusability and hence provide acceptable work-around to customers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
