Job Description:

As a CMM Jr Engineer at Sansera Engineering, you will be responsible for operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect and verify the accuracy of precision machined components. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CMM equipment to measure, inspect, and verify complex machined components
- Develop and implement CMM programs using various software packages
- Interpret engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment
- Create detailed reports of inspection results and communicate findings to the relevant teams
- Collaborate with production and quality control teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inspection processes and procedures
- Adhere to all safety and quality regulations and standards

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in operating and programming CMM equipment
- Proficiency in CMM software (e.g. PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar)
- Solid understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T principles, and measurement techniques
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems (preferred)
