Job Description
- Site inspection of civil construction work and ensure that the work is as per the project specifications and issued for construction drawing / final approved drawings.
- BOQ preparation of civil work.
- Proper management of Material and Workmanship.
- Ensure that all the work meets the stipulated quality standards.
- Coordination with various contractors and subcontractors for smooth flow of work.
- Planning and managing site activities.
- Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site.
- Manage testing of materials and completed work as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including work progress, delays, and changes.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the Project Manager.
- Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and properly filed.
- Liaise with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Coordinate with other site engineers and foremen to ensure efficient workflow.
- Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise on-site.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and troubleshooting problems as they arise.
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in site management.
- Relevant certifications in construction management or site supervision are advantageous.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e. g. , AutoCAD, MS Project).
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
