Job Description

  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our manufacturing
  • and technical offerings mapping them to customer needs and translating these into compelling value propositions for clients.
  • Techno Commercial Expertise: An extensive knowledge of manufacturing process to understand the Customer expectations and provide value add solution meeting the competitiveness and product capabilities requirements of customer maintaining the revenue/margin targets.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective B2B sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Account Deep dive strategy: Prepare a deep dive into individual account to prepare long term strategy with the prospective customers.
  • BD Strategy: Prepare an industry specific with geographical expansion road map for long term revenue generation pipeline strategies.
  • Proposal Development: Work with the Sourcing and Operations team to create customized proposals and presentations that effectively communicate how our solutions can address clients' specific needs and drive business growth.
  • Prospect hunting: Conduct market scanning to identify potential clients, emerging trends, and competitor activities in the Global manufacturing sector.
  • Trade shows: Participate in industry leading trade conferences, events and expos to provide strong market visibility and generate leads
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries and clients. Understand their technical requirements and challenges.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations, address objections, and close deals with clients, ensuring favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the technical, production, and customer support teams to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities, providing regular reports and forecasts to the management team.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new market segments and growth opportunities within the Asian/European region


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, Business, or a related field; a masters degree is a plus
  • Min 8-12 years of experience with Manufacturing Industries and working on the Sales solution aspect with Techno commercial advanced knowledge is a must.
  • Extensive experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, preferably in a technical or manufacturing sector.
  • Business development experience for the commodities but not limited to (Custom parts, Capex, Indirect etc.)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, technologies, and materials.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of preparing Sales pitch presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and the ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional 1-2 European languages
  • Market analysis to understand the market, companies, their product portfolio and pitch the products accordingly to the need.
  • Good communication and power point skills.
  • Must be able to travel 75% of the time.
  • Able to create leads thru cold calls, or thru industry contact.
  • Must have good industry connect from the potential customers.
  • Industrial products sales i.e., Compressors, MRO items , Manufactured items, Capital equipment etc.
  • Commodity Sales: Person must have worked in sales and business development of commodity i.e. Steel, Copper etc.
