CNC Operator- Poland (Europe)

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced 5 Axis CNC Machine Operator with Edge Banding Aggregate to join our team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our 5 Axis CNC machine, specifically equipped with an edge banding aggregate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating similar machines within the furniture industry, demonstrating proficiency in executing precise machining tasks and ensuring high-quality production.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate the 5 Axis CNC machine with edge banding aggregate to execute machining tasks on various furniture components.
• Load and unload work pieces onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and securing them for accurate machining.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, including ball nose mills for 3D milling operations, drill bits for drilling operations, and edge banding tools for radius 0.5mm, 1mm, and 2mm.
• Program the CNC machine using CAD-CAM software, ensuring precise tool paths and optimal machining parameters.
• Monitor the machining process, making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool replacement.
• Conduct regular quality inspections of machined parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or programming errors.
• Collaborate with team members, such as engineers and designers, to optimize machining processes and improve overall productivity. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven work experience as a CNC Machine Operator, specifically operating 5 Axis machines with edge banding aggregate in the furniture industry.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining operations.
• Experience in setting up and operating CNC machines, including tool selection, workpiece loading, and machine calibration.
• Familiarity with special tools for CNC machining, such as ball nose mills for 3D milling operations, drill bits for drilling operations, and edge banding tools for radius 0.5mm, 1mm, and 2mm.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and conduct quality inspections.
• Attention to detail and precision in executing machining tasks.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet production targets and deadlines.
